Janet earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2001, from Texas Women’s University in Houston, Texas, and has been practicing physical therapy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the past 8 years. Additionally, Janet earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baylor University in 1997. Janet’s career focus is in the field of general orthopaedics, where she incorporates evidence-based manual and exercise techniques to improve the mobility and strength of the patient, while managing pain & maximizing functional activity.

Janet has completed over 300 hours of continuing education courses in the past 8 years, centered on orthopaedic physical therapy. She is currently enrolled in the “Clinical Orthopaedic Residency Education Series”, at The University of Texas, to prepare for the APTA Orthopaedic Certified Specialist exam (OCS) to be conducted in 2011. Janet is the Lead Therapist for All-Star Orthopaedics in Southlake.

When not seeing patients, Janet can be found outdoors enjoying: water skiing, snow skiing and yoga.
