Dear Patients,

After many years of caring for patients throughout North Texas, I am writing to let you know that I will retire from clinical practice effective October 2, 2026.

It has been a privilege to care for you and your family. I am sincerely grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I have worked throughout my career to provide thoughtful, compassionate spine care.

To ensure continuity of care following my retirement, All-Star Orthopaedics has recruited two physicians who will provide complementary spine and pain management services:

John C. McElroy, MD: Orthopedic spine surgeon with advanced fellowship training in open and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Tyler D. Hunter, DO: Fellowship-trained pain medicine specialist focused on comprehensive and interventional pain management.

Dr. McElroy and Dr. Hunter will be available to continue serving patients at the same All-Star Orthopaedics locations in Southlake and Irving. Because your medical records will remain within the practice, no transfer is required if you continue your care with All-Star Orthopaedics. If you wish to obtain a copy of your medical records, please contact our office at 817-421-5000.
